Solo EP Bundle of King Buzzo, Dale Crover, Joe Preston, and Steven McDonald with Mackie Osbourne letterpress covers and a screen printed paper wrap including a gold stamp that reads "The Melvins Official Stamp of Authenticity". Only the King Buzzo EP includes a poster and download card. Some sets include varying colors of vinyl.

The Melvins then released three "solo" EPs, following the concept and imitating the cover artwork inspired by the four Kiss members' solo albums released in 1978. King Buzzo, Dale Crover, and Joe Preston were all released in 1992 on Boner Records. Later in 1992, they released the full-length album, Lysol, which had to be renamed Melvins because Lysol was a trademarked name. Preston departed from the band, and Lorax briefly rejoined. Atlantic Records era (1993–1997).

I think in the last two months we’ve recorded 35 songs. the Melvins are back out on the road in support of their latest album Pinkus Abortion Technician hitting towns in the . and Canada over the next month or so. This album is just an EP, but I think it's their best record. And Jon Spencer is one of these guys that I think is one of the greatest, most unheralded guitar players ever. You never hear anybody talk about what a great guitar player Jon Spencer is. It doesn't make any sense to me. I like this record all the way through. I like their "fuck you" attitude, I like the way it sounds. We took the Melvins' Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and Steven McDonald golfing. And it was just as insane as you'd imagine.
