Stoner Witch is the seventh studio album by Melvins, which was released in 1994 through Atlantic Records. The album was recorded with Garth GGGarth Richardson and Joe Barresi in 19 days at the A&M Studios in Hollywood. Most of the tracks were captured in a single take, and all of the tracking and mastering was completed in a single, continuous session. The title comes from a term that drummer Dale Crover and his friends used to describe "the stoner chicks" at their high school.

Onto the content of Stoner Witch. This album's got it all: heaving Sabbathian riffs, weird song structures and timing signatures, and the bludgeoning drumming of Dale Crover. There's even a hint of southern rock in the masterpiece that is Revolve. This album is in my opinion among The Melvins' best, right up there with the legendary Houdini and the bong-ripping Bullhead.
