Magnum Opus (Top Quality album). Magnum Opus was the only album released by Top Quality. The album was released on November 14, 1993 though RCA Records. Parrish "PMD" Smith of EPMD served as the album's executive producer. Though it had input from PMD, the album found nowhere near the amount of success that EPMD and members of their Hit Squad had attained

Indeed, the title track has become somewhat famous as an exercise in creative sampling. Other highlights include the story of the "Graveyard Shift," along with a few moments of compelling production provided by Charlie Marotta.

Top Quality was an American rapper formally signed to RCA Records in the early 1990s. He was the first rapper from White Plains to get a major label record deal. After appearing in The Source magazine's Unsigned Hype, a column dedicated to finding unsigned talent, Top Quality eventually caught the eye of EPMD's Parrish "PMD" Smith, who made him a member of the rap collective Hit Squad and was subsequently signed a deal with RCA Records. The album, however, was a commercial failure. Unlike other Hit Squad releases at the time, Magnum Opus failed to sell many copies and peaked at only 95 on the Billboard R&B charts. After being released from RCA, Top Quality appeared on PMD's Shade Business in 1994 and 3rd Eye's Planets in 1998, but he has not been heard of since.

Producer: Kievan Mack. Main genre: Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B. Contains samples of 3 songs. Hook, Riff Jazz, Blues.

Opus Magnum is the third studio album by Austrian melodic death metal band Hollenthon, released by Napalm Records in 2008. Music by Martin Schirenc, lyrics by Elena Schirenc, except "The Bazaar" by Jeff Martin, Stuart Chatwood and Jeff Burrows. On the Wings of a Dove" – 5:00. To Fabled Lands" – 5:53. Son of Perdition" – 4:52. Ars Moriendi" – 5:33.

Gogal Gogal
this album is over flowing with personality, in the video for the song "magnum opus", top quality puts his poetical style into visual form with his slinky-style dance moves where his body acts like a slinky. its 100 percent hip hop in all directions, you wont find an album that you can say "hey this reminds me of that top quality guy" anywhere, PMD oversee's this whole album to make sure its tip top at all angles. top quality is very charactristic and stick icky linguistics lactate hard core hip hop fans nipples, male or female. he infact has an almost child-like poetic style, and he nods at infulence from the one and only cat in the hat Dr.sues, that side of him is charming in a way hard core hip hop heads will adore. the beats and styles are well varied and even those who dont fall head over heels on love with his whole album and TQ's personality, will certainly find a few songs undeniably astounding. this is one for those who like to stick there noses into a bit of obscurity and dont give a damn what other people think about it. the chances are, most of your friends probably wont feel the same way as you about this album, but its a one of a kind, and those who love it get the reward.
