This pairing was one of the most important moments in all of Hip-Hop for me. When this album came out, R&B was still not super huge in rap, and artists who included softer tracks like "Brown Skin Lady" were kind of shunned. This album changed that for me. Mos is one of the most respected rappers of all time, and these guys seriously made a hurricane with this album. Both MC's go so hard on this album, but their execution of including R&B elements was. For some fucking reason i never rated this. But is some fucking incredible golden age music Mos Def and Talib Kweli join forces to create one of the best hip hop albums ever made.
