Originally written by Anslem Douglas (titled "Doggie") for the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival season of 1998, it was covered by producer Jonathan King who sang it under the name Fat Jakk and his Pack of Pets. He brought the song to the attention of his friend Steve Greenberg, who then had the Baha Men cover the song.

However, the addition of slower 'pop' ballads has spoilt the album as these detract from the individual style of the Baha Men and turn in the album into merely run of the mill pop. There are some great tracks such as 'Who let the dogs out' 'She all Dat' and getting hotter but the rest is quite bland. The addition of a bonus 'single' CD does little to enhance the album as two of the four tracks are already on the album
