Frankie Goes to Hollywood (FGTH), formed in 1980, were a British band popular in the mid-1980s. The song was later included on the album Welcome to the Pleasuredome (1984). Although fairly inauspicious upon initial release, "Relax" finally reached number one on the UK singles chart on 24 January 1984, ultimately becoming one of the most controversial and most commercially successful records of the entire decade.
The Greatest Hits of Frankie Goes to Hollywood is a compilation album by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, released in 1993 during a spate of reissuing and remixing of Frankie Goes to Hollywood products by ZTT Records, hence the appearance of "classic" 1993 versions of two tracks, and the addition of one incongruous contemporary remix on the American CD version of 1994. Relax" – 3:55 from Welcome to the Pleasuredome. Two Tribes" – 3:56 from Welcome to the Pleasuredome.

That album teamed Frankie Goes to Hollywood with a new producer, and gave the act a more rock sound. Like the album, the video for Rage Hard brought in a new director, Paul Morley. Morley co-founded Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s label, ZTT and was a member of Art of Noise. While this was Morley’s first video for the band, he was the man behind the marketing and promotion of Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Unfortunately, Morley didn’t have much experience as a music video director - only having done Duel for Propaganda before . The Liverpool videos are more about chasing trends than making them. Still, Frankie Goes to Hollywood are still a respected act. Remarkably for a band with only two albums, there are 13 different compilations of demos, remixes, and greatest hits. There were even a couple reunion tours, though they didn’t include Johnson nor original guitarist Brian Nash. Warriors of the Wasteland, 03:56. For Heaven's Sake, 04:29.
Bang! is a compilation album by Frankie Goes to Hollywood given a Japan-only release during 1985. It is the first compilation album by the group, and the first to gather together various remixes that were difficult to find at the time. The album has subsequently become a collectors item in its own right. For collectors, the inclusion of the Hibakusha mix of "Two Tribes" was a real find. The U. S. government provides no support to Japanese American hibakusha, while one British Commonwealth citizen and seven Dutch POWs died in the Nagasaki bombing, at least two POWs reportedly died postwar from cancer thought to have been caused by the atomic bomb. 4. The Power of Love (Frankie Goes to Hollywood song) – The Power of Love is a song originally recorded and released by English band Frankie Goes to Hollywood. It was written by Holly Johnson, Peter Gill, Mark OToole and Brian Nash and it was released by the group as their third single.
