1-10 to 1-15 are the versions from the original vinyl album A Secret Wish (01 July 1985). 2-1: previously unreleased on compact disc. Originally released as "singlette" Do Well CTIS 108 (May 1985) 2-2 to 2-4, 2-8, 2-11: previously unreleased. I wish (a secret wish perhaps?) that people were able to hear Propaganda's original demos which were like hearing Propaganda as done by The Fall or someone. The bore no resemblance at all to what became their first album.

Remastered from the original tapes ‘for the first time’, the vinyl and CD reissues will replicate the original ZTT vinyl LP, CD track listings. Fans will be aware that these are very different in terms of sequencing and mixes (the CD runs nearly 12 minutes longer than its vinyl counterpart). The CD comes in a hardcover book (sometimes referred to as a casebound book) and features the notes in a 32-page booklet. Because of the aforementioned audio differences between CD and LP, this is one occasion where there’s an incentive to pick up both formats (assuming you have a turntable!). A Secret Wish was a critical, if not a commercial success.

BRILLIANT! I love this album! It deserves to be in the hall of fame. Questo è un Lp BUONO, che sottovalutai persino io all'epoca, a risentirlo dopo anni si sente che i Propaganda meritavano più vendite, non avevano look e solo Duel era "commerciale"(il testo tutt'altro che banale però), lo stesso p-machinery, che pur fu trasmesso in radio e discoteche, già non era da massa "leggera".
