In this video the THRS Crew give their thoughts on a the 18th album from American musician Frank Zappa! Check out what we think, give the music a listen fo. .

Apostrophe (’) is the eighteenth album by Frank Zappa, released in March 1974 in both stereo and quadraphonic formats.

Apostrophe (’). Frank Zappa. Apostrophe (’) Tracklist. 1. Don't Eat the Yellow Snow Lyrics. Apostrophe (’) Q&A.

The first half of the album is full of nonsensical shaggy-dog story songs that segue into one another without seeming to finish themselves first; their dirty jokes are generally more subtle and veiled than the more notorious cuts on Over-Nite Sensation. The second half contains the instrumental title cut, featuring Jack Bruce on bass; "Uncle Remus," an update of Zappa's critique of racial discord on "Trouble Every Day"; and a return to the album's earlier silliness in "Stink-Foot. Apostrophe (') has the narrative feel of a concept album, but aside.

Tracklist: 1. Don’t Eat The Yellow Snow, 2. Nanook Rubs It, 3. St. Alfonzo’s Pancake Breakfast, 4. Father O’Blivion, 5. Cosmik Debris, 6. Excentrifugal Forz, 7. Apostrophe’, 8. Uncle Remus, 9. Stink-Foot. More albums from Frank Zappa: Jazz From Hell by Frank Zappa. Feeding The Monkies At Ma Maison by Frank Zappa. Civilization Phaze III by Frank Zappa. Things Wayne Newton never Told Yo. y Frank Zappa. Lumpy Gravy by Frank Zappa. Joe’s Garage Acts II & III by Frank Zappa. Chunga’s Revenge by Frank Zappa.

This is Frank Zappa's most commercially accesible album, because it has "Don't eat the yellow snow" which was his biggest single up until "Valley Girl" in the eighties I think  . 7. Apostrophe' - This is a full all out jam with Frank and Jack Bruce (Cream). The Bass playing is excellent, the bass has this fuzzy tone that is awesome. The guitar playing is outstanding, it has a very twangy tone.
