Solitary Confinement Lyrics. The Members Lyrics provided by SongLyrics.

The Original Sound of the Suburbs, One of the Original And Best Punk Rock Bands to come out of the UK in 1977, JC Carroll, Chris Payne, Nick Cash. You are living in the suburbs, And you have problems with your parents, So you move on up to London town, Where you think everything's happening, going down. Living in a bedsit, Travelling on a tube train, Working all day long. And you know no one, So you don't go out, And you eat out of tins, And you watch television, Solitary confinement.

Album: At The Chelsea Night Club. I can't get the intro yet but try doing a C shape and mess around. True to its subtitle, this 18-track collection compiles the finest moments of the band's two-year stay at Virgin Records (1979-1980). While this period was the strongest for the band, it would have been nice to include a track or two from their final album, Uprhythm, Downbeat, such as the near-hit "Working Girl.

The Members are a British punk band that originated in Camberley, England. In the UK, they are best known for their single "The Sound of the Suburbs", reaching in 1979, and in Australia, "Radio" which reached in 1982. The Members were formed by lyricist Nicky Tesco (Nick Lightowlers) in 1976, through an invited audition at a recording studio at Tooley Street, London.
