What are the best albums by IQ? BestEverAlbums. com brings together thousands of 'greatest ever album' charts and calculates an overall ranking. Members who like this artist also like: David Gilmour, Salif Keita and The Blue Nile.

IQ are a British neo-progressive rock band founded by Mike Holmes and Martin Orford in 1981 following the dissolution of their original band The Lens. Although the band have never enjoyed major commercial success and had several line up changes, IQ have built up a loyal following over the years and are still active as of 2018.

Thankfully, IQ's many personnel changes haven't affected them in a negative way - and even though Frequency isn't among their essential albums, it illustrates IQ's ability to continue providing memorable and very digestible progressive rock 28 years after the band's formation.
