Henry Paul (born 10 February 1974), also known by the nickname of "HP", is a former dual code rugby league and rugby union international. Paul represented New Zealand in rugby league and England in rugby union and rugby sevens. He once held the world record for the most consecutive kicks on the field, a record now held by Neil Jenkins. Paul's played as a loose forward and stand-off. He played as a centre in rugby union, and has previously played as a fly-half.

By 1982, Henry Paul was completely devoid of musical direction, let alone inspiration. After issuing a truly fine album in Anytime a year before, Paul decided on yet another musical change in direction. On his eponymously titled final album for Atlantic before re-forming the Outlaws, Paul took the hard boogie stance of Feel the Heat and married it to pop hooks à la Boston, Loverboy, and Styx, making for a truly disastrous finale. The shrill edges in the vocals seem to be trying to get something out of Bruce Springsteen's mileage as well.

Henry Paul (musician). Their third album was released in 1981, Anytime, included the hit "Keeping Our Love Alive" on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and Billboard Top Tracks(Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart) in 1982 with background vocals by Richard Paige of Mr. Mister & Bill Champlin of Chicago. The album also featured a non-charted single "Living Without Your Love" that was played on some album rock stations, cover version of Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl" Billboard Bubbling Under The Hot 100 Singles Chart in 1982, and a live show highlight "Crazy Eyes". In 1983 the Henry Paul Band disbanded as Henry reunited with Hughie Thomasson of The Outlaws. Their collaboration led to the 1986 release of The Outlaws' Soldiers of Fortune.
