The Wedding Present are a British indie rock group originally formed in 1985 in Leeds, England, from the ashes of the Lost Pandas. Ostensibly a 30 year celebration of their Singles album Tommy, there was a sprinkling of other tracks and frontman David Gedge was on fine form as was the band generally. Great atmosphere and sound (had been very disappointed with the sound levels at a gig the previous week at another venue), so well done Islington!
