Death Grips finally completes an immense double album with the release of Jenny Death, assembling two very different-but satisfying-releases in the DG discography. Y'all know this is just my opinion, right? What did you think of this album? Love it?

Icelandic pioneer describes herself as the Sacramento noise-rap group's 'found object' on Niggas on the Moon.
The Powers That B is the fourth studio album, and first double album, by experimental hip hop group Death Grips. The album's first disc, Niggas on the Moon, was released as a free digital download on June 8, 2014. The first disc's instrumentation was performed entirely on a Roland V-Drum kit by drummer Zach Hill and features chopped vocal samples of Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk on every track. The second half, Jenny Death, leaked online on March 19, 2015.
One of the few things we know for sure about niggas on the moon - the eight-song, 31-minute project Death Grips surprise-released on Monday - is that it’s the first of a two-part album called the powers that b. If nothing else, it’s an intense, characteristic release that extends Death Grips’ reputation as a force of perpetual motion. In turn, it generates anticipation for the follow-up, due out sometime this year. Going back to 2011’s Ex-Military mixtape, Death Grips have always toed the line between virtuously experimental and outright garbage, and niggas on the moon might be their most.
Death Grips put out a new record yesterday (well sort of, they made a Soundcloud playlist, that's generally as close as they get to releasing an album) and like most Death Grips records it’s a heavy-artillery assault on your eardrums. The three most interesting things about the record: - It’s called niggas on the moon. It features Bjork on every single track. It has a song called Have a Sad Cum which jizzes the word fapfapfap throughout. Everything else is standard Death Grips. MC Ride is still raw. Zach Hill still makes beats that will not help anyone with tinnitus.
The second disc will be titled jenny death and the album will be out officially later this year on Harvest/Third Worlds Records. You can now download a zip via thirdworlds. net and stream the whole thing below. Death Grips have never been a band that's predictable. They dropped a new album this past November, Government Plates, with no warning at all, and today they released the first part of a double LP to be released later this year entitled The Powers That B. The first half of the album is called "Niggas On The Moon" and it features Björk on every track. You can stream it in full above. If this first part is any indication, The Powers That B is going to be Death Grips' strangest release to date
