Originally known as Big Malcolm, one of the co-founding members of the group that would eventually be known as The Outlawz. Around 1992/93 Malcolm and friends began working and recording with 2Pac, an association that would prove career-changing. A couple of years later the group formed the Outlawz Immortal and began working on an album a year after 2Pac's tragic death when the group signed to Death Row Records (2). The group released a string of albums in the late 1990s/early 2000s.

On December 21, 1999, the Outlawz' debut album, Still I Rise, was released. 2008: Doin' It Big (with 8Ball). 2015: Ghetto Starz: Streets to the Stage (with Nutt-So).

8Ball & MJG is an American hip hop duo from Memphis, Tennessee. The two rappers met at Ridgeway Middle School (Memphis, Tennessee) in 1984. In 1993, the duo released their debut album Comin' Out Hard. They went on to release On the Outside Looking In (1994), On Top of the World (1995), In Our Lifetime (1999), Space Age 4 Eva (2000), Living Legends (2004), Ridin' High (2007) and Ten Toes Down (2010).

In the earlier years of the Outlawz, they were known as Young Thugz and composed of K-Dog who later became Kastro, Young Hollywood who later became Yaki Kadafi, Mutah or Mu who later became Napoleon, and Big Malik who later became .
