Entrance of the Gladiators" op. 68 or "Entry of the Gladiators" (Czech: Vjezd gladiatoru) is a military march composed in 1897 by the Czech composer Julius Fucik. He originally titled it "Grande Marche Chromatique", reflecting the use of chromatic scales throughout the piece, but changed the title based on his personal interest in the Roman Empire.
Entrance of the Gladiators, Op. 68. Julius Fucik composed 'Entrance of the Gladiators' (Czech: Vjezd gladiatoru, German: Einzug der Gladiatoren) in 1897. He later changed the title based on his interest in the history of the Roman Empire. American publisher Carl Fischer laster printed this march in 1091, arranged for wind bands by Canadian composer Louis-Philippe Laurendeau, and under the title "Thunder and Blazes. It was after this that the piece gained popularity as a screamer circus march, often played during the introduction of the clowns. This association has persisted, and today the march is known as a circus march, with its original composer and title being relatively obscure.

In 1973, Elton John played the opening measures of the march on a Farfisa organ as the start of his solo on that instrument in the song "Your Sister Can't Twist (But She Can Rock 'n Roll)", on his historic album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. In 1974, writers Leo Sayer and David Courtney wove the introduction and melody into their composition "The Show Must Go On", which became a hit for the pop group Three Dog Night.
