Julia Dream" is the B-side of the Pink Floyd single "It Would Be So Nice". The song was the first to be recorded by the band with lead vocals by David Gilmour. Written by bassist Roger Waters, "Julia Dream" is characterised by the slow tempo, the airy, ambient Mellotron sounds from keyboardist Rick Wright and lush chorus vocals

Julia dream, dreamboat queen Queen of all my dreams. Every night I turn the light out Waiting for the velvet bride Will the scaly armadillo Find me where I’m hiding? Julia dream, dreamboat queen Queen of all my dreams. Will the misty master break me? Will the key unlock my mind? Will the following footsteps catch me? Am I really dying? Julia dream, dreamboat queen Queen of all my dreams. Julia Dream was the B-side to the single It Would Be So Nice, and was the first Pink Floyd song to be sung by David Gilmour. Its first release as said B-side was a Monaural mix, then a Stereo mix was released as part of the Relics compilation in 1971. Julia Dream" Track Info.

The other track here 'Julia Dream' is a rather melancholic and sad-sounding tune, taking a much more sombre approach than most other material heard on the early Floyd singles. Relying mostly on some soft vocals with keyboard and acoustics, it is fairly simple and much less complex than the single here. As well, it is not nearly as memorable, generally taking one approach and sticking with it throughout the song. The b-side here is nothing special, but 'It Would Be So Nice' is a very nice track from the Pink Floyd, even if they may tend to disagree
