From the opening fuzz-drenched riff of "Always Me", it's clear this is the sound the band were looking for. The guitars are warm, lightly fuzzed and dissonant, most reminiscient of the sun-rock of Hendrix or Dinosaur Jr. Of course, the band have clear influences from the Blue Cheer school of psych, taking cues from Mudhoney, Fu Manchu & Monster Magnet in terms of aggressive vocals.
