The second masterpiece by meshuggah, in my opinion.

Nothing is the fourth album by Swedish metal band Meshuggah, originally released in 2002. The album entered the Billboard 200 chart at number 165, slightly higher than the band's following effort, Catch Thirtythree. A last-minute decision to join 2002's Ozzfest tour forced the band to mix the album in two days and to master it in one. As a result, the album had its guitars and drums re-recorded for a remastered re-release in 2006.

Some of the songs are longer than the originals. The second disc contains live & official videos. Catalog number for the DVD is NB 1760-5. Manufactured in Germany.

Sure, Meshuggah's 2002 release, Nothing, doesn't redefine artistic parameters- this band is not about innovation. Sweden's seminal metal amalgam has remained true to their ideology since forming in 1987, churning out beefy, intricate hard rock songs with off-kilter tempos, ample polyrhythms, and caustic vocals.
