Hot Damn! is the second studio album by American metalcore band Every Time I Die. In mid-December 2002, it was announced that the band had booked time to record their next album in February 2003, with the aim of releasing it in June. Recording took place at Trax East studios in South River, New Jersey with producer Eric Rachel. On February 13, it was announced that drums had been tracked and that progress on guitars was underway.

2003 saw Every Time I Die releasing their sophomore release Hot Damn, and not only did they completely avoid any sort of sophomore slump they completely ran it over and left it for dead in a set of stolen wheels! From the moment you being listening to Hot Damn! you are aurally assaulted by screeching guitars and pounding drums before Keith Buckley’s unique vocals complete that tapestry that has just been woven in an instant before you in the song Romeo-A Go G. This album comes at you fast, and doesn’t really every slow down except for the slower track In The Event That Everything Should Go Wrong which serves as a buffer between Floater and Ebolarama. Throughout the album the guitars of Andy Williams and Jordan Buckley create rhythms that will alternate between dense metal riffs, and heavy breakdowns, all while never overdoing the latter.

Every Time I Die, amid baseless rumors and a fair amount of shit-talking, have finally released "Hot Damn!," an album that I have personally been anticipating for a good while. To be honest, when I first received of this album, I didn't think it would hold up against their previous album, "Last Night In Town. I was hoping for an on-par effort at the least (far too many bands exhaust themselves by their third release). In fact, I think the biggest fear I had about "Hot Damn!" was that it was going to be another "Last Night In Town
