Description

Transistor Transistor. If You Really Love Me You Would Shut Up. –Transistor Transistor.

Release group by Mannequin, Transistor Transistor.

Transistor Transistor: Recorded by a patient Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios. Mannequin: Recorded by Adam at ACR baltimore MD. Winter 02/03. 2270 copies: 1650 on translucent blood clot (red w/ black veins), 600 on black vinyl, roughly 20 test presses (THIS). Maybe 100-200 copies got silk-screened covers instead of regular covers? Transistor was unsatisfied with the sound quality of the 1st set of test presses, so the 600 on black have the bad sounding Transistor side since one of the bands needed vinyl rushed in time for tour (they were trippin though, it sounds fine)

Transistor Transistor started in a cluttered basement in Derry, New Hampshire in 2001. With nothing better to do than commit petty acts of vandalism, and practice all the time, the band got going quickly. By 2003 the band had toured relentlessly and worked with bands such as Wolves, Light the Fuse and Run, Daughters, Hot Cross, and Mannequin.

Transistor is the fourth studio album by American rock band 311, released on August 5, 1997 by Capricorn Records. The album saw a change in musical style as fewer songs feature rapping in comparison to the band's previous albums. Retrospectively, however, the album has been more positively received, and was certified platinum by the RIAA.
