i absolutely love this Archive series and every release is better then the previous one making this the best one yet. i remember a time when Genocide Organ material was so sparse and rare that even if you had everything you still didn't have much.now even though full length albums of new material seem to be getting released at even longer intervals with every release there are smaller releases appearing more and more frequently from live albums to unreleased LP's to this Archive series of unreleased material. sure since there well deserved rapid gain in popularity the mystery and intrigue of the band has faded and these days every body knows who they are. the ambiguity of are they this or are they that is gone and all these things were part of what made Genocide Organ such a fascinating subject overall. but the quality of music has only improved with every new album and including all this fantastic publishing of old unreleased material if it costs the reputation and ambiguity of the Genocide Organ of the old days its totally worth it cause i as a fan want more music and this Archive series is a long time dream come true. i know that this is only a small fraction of the material they have tucked away but there has been a new Archive EP every year now for 4 years so if they keep this up in 20 years time there will be 21 Archive EP's and if they start releasing 2 a year or even quarterly we will be swimming in the best industrial music ever created. *sigh* i can only dream but heck if you would of asked me 15 years ago if i ever would of thought this would happen i would of said no chance. so thanks to the band for taking the initiative in doing these Archive releases and other projects because i have a feeling they could still live and eat well with out supplying us with all this extra material.
