Through the Past Darkly is even better than its predecessor, showing the Stones as accomplished in a range of musical styles as the Beatles. A look at the track listing tells you all you need to know, this is one hell of an album. I just listened to this on the drive back from Christmas up north. I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the remastering. This is so well done there is not a tinge of digititus, and the sound coming through my expensive setup in my Beemer, complete with Fosgate amp and JL subs, was crisp, musical, and pure.
