The release of Sentimental Journey coincided with the end of WWII in Europe and was the homecoming theme for many veterans. This is one great Album which was remastered. The songs that were selected were,in my opinion,the best of Les Brown. I would image that Les Brown Jr. had a hand in selecting those arrangements. of this year our Big Band (18pc) that I play with (Moonlighters of Litiz,Pa. will be headlining the Les Brown day @ Tower City,Pa. I will get to meet and talk with Les Brown Jr. as he will be appearing there as well as a guest muscian who was one of the orginals with Les Brown.
