Vono took the minimalist synth-new-wave aesthetic to an extreme. Most tracks feature spoken (not sung) words in German. And that's about it. One track, "Lover Werner", actually adds a bit of drum machine and almost resembles a pop song, but the rest are as stripped-down as one can get without disappearing into silence. All they do is take a line, and then reiterate or rephrase it, over and over again. Every song is like that two having dinner. they are eating now'. I thought at some point they would tell a story or a poem, but no, they don't do anything.
