Inle Lake is a shallow lake in the middle of Myanmar, south-east of Mandalay. The lake is 22km long, and is densely inhabited by many different tribes. nle Lake is located in the Shan hills of Myanmar. Phaung Daw Oo Paya is a multi-storey pagoda with golden Buddha statues. In the hills near the city of India, the stupas of Shwe Inn look like a field of golden arrows. The destroyed stupas of the nearby city of Nyaung Ohak were rescued from the forest.
