Description

Pet Shop Boys - Where Streets Have no Name (Can´t take my eyes off of You) - Extended Version Album: Behavior 1990.

Produced by Pet Shop Boys & Julian Mendelsohn. Where the Streets Have No Name (I Can’t Take My Eyes Off You) Lyrics. Pet Shop Boys' cover of the U2 song, interpolated with Can’t Take My Eyes Off You by Frankie Valli (although in an arrangement similar to the Boystown Gang version), prompted U2 to release the following statement: What have we done to deserve this? Nevertheless, the cover double-A-sided with the rather ironic How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously? peaked at number 4 in the UK singles chart in March 1991. Where the Streets Have No Name (I Can’t Take My Eyes Off You)" Track Info.

Where the Streets Have No Name (I Can't Take My Eyes off You)" is a song by English synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys. The song is a medley of covers of U2's "Where the Streets Have No Name" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You", the 1960s single by Frankie Valli, though in an arrangement informed by the 1982 disco version of the song by Boystown Gang rather than the original.

Where the streets have no name/can't take my eyes off you/how can you expect to be taken seriously? Pet shop boys. i love the pet shop boys and have all of their studio albums from 86 to 2009 but you have to be honest. charts in the 90s in the UK TOP 75 were stupid and not really reliable The sales were so low, that a band like PSB could reach easily the top 10 for one week with their new singles but it was not good because after that week the singles fell from the top 10 to 40 or something. In the 90s and early 00s pet shop boys could reach with their singles the top 10 or top 20 but just for 1 week. You cannot measure this as success
