Hot Shot is the fifth studio album released by Jamaican-American singer Shaggy. The album was first released on August 8, 2000, in the United States, before being issued in the United Kingdom on 5 February 2001, with a revised track listing. Hot Shot went on to be certified six times platinum in the United States according to the RIAA. The album has sold 9 million copies worldwide.

Shot At The Night’ is the lead single of The Killers' second compilation album, and was released at the 10th anniversary of their first London show. It was produced by M83’s Anthony Gonzalez. What have the artists said about the song? It’s very of-the moment, and it’s classy. It’s not sleazy, and that’s something that I like about it as well. I wrote it in Australia, on the Battle Born tour. It’s pretty different from what’s on ‘Battle Born’, so I’m still kind of getting used to it! But I’m glad it’s spearheading ‘Direct Hits’, because that’s what we are – we’ve never stuck to just one.
