The first career-spanning Stones compilation was the 2002 collection Forty Licks. For the group's 50th anniversary, ABKCO and Universal have compiled GRRR!, the most comprehensive overview of The Stones' career to date, with tracks ranging from the band's first 1963 single, Chuck Berry's "Come On," to two brand-new 2012 tracks, "Doom and Gloom" and "One More Shot. I purchased the Blu-Ray Pure Audio version of this album. It is an amazingly complete book of the musical maturation of The Rolling Stones. But, (and isn't there always a but? with one t?), I've come to the realization as to why CD and other music formats such as this are not selling as well as might be expected.
