Rikki (Richard Peebles, born 1956), is a Scottish singer who has written songs for the band, Middle of the Road. Peebles's song "Only the Light" won the BBC's A Song for Europe contest in 1987 going on to be the UK entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1987 where it placed 13th out of 22 entries, making it the lowest ranked UK entry in the competition until 2000. The song failed to reach the UK Top 75 singles chart and a subsequent album of the same name also failed to chart

At the Eurovision Song Contest in Brussels the song fared poorly and was placed 13th out of the 22 entries  . But he did release an album, similarly titled, in 1987, which also failed.
