Talk about the Weather is the first album by the British rock band Red Lorry Yellow Lorry. It was released in 1985 in the UK on the Red Rhino independent label. It appeared on the New Musical Express indie rock albums chart for several months and peaked at No. 3, indicating strong sales. The LP had only eight songs, although several subsequent cassette and CD releases included various bonus tracks. Talk About the Weather" – 4:04. Hand on Heart" – 3:49. Feel a Piece" – 2:42.

Weather talk doesn’t deserve its reputation as an express ticket to dullsville. OZY was first to this story, putting you ahead of the curve. Is weather talk so dull? We respectfully disagree. Not for the obvious, . climate change, reasons - the cyclone in Vanuatu, or the California drought, for instance - or even its politicization by retrograde senators. Had we talked about the weather a bit more seriously 30 years ago, we might not be planning yet another round of fruitless climate conferences. Rather, weather talk, when done correctly, with sincerity and humility and maybe some poetry, has possibilities as infinite as the skies above. To be in weather’s thrall is to be vulnerable, and human.

Using weather idioms: is Jen chasing rainbows, or is it a storm in a teacup? The English We Speak: 23 July 2013. Both: Bye! Downloads.

We should plant a tree We should carve a heart We should make some shade Where the river starts Watch the storms of life From a front porch swing While our dreams grow wild And our roots run deep We should plant a tree. I wanna drink the rain I wanna feel the sun Be strong and solid to weather Whatever comes. And when we're just a stone In a hundred years I want the world to know That we were here  . We Should Plant A Tree" lyrics provided for educational purposes and personal use only.

Snow in May, as the Met Office points out, is nothing special. The last time we saw it was way back in 2011, and again in 2010. On 2 May 1979, snow was reported at 342 weather stations across Britain. And while blocking weather systems delayed the arrival of long-distance migrants such as swifts and reed warblers by as much as two weeks, these birds should still be able to make up time and breed successfully. May, says Leech, head of the nest records scheme at the BTO, is "a pivotal month". Unless it gets warmer and sunnier, there won't be much bird food about.
