Mozart: Die Zauberflöte, . 20, Erster Aufzug - "Hm, hm, hm" by Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau & Fritz Wunderlich & Hildegard Hillebrecht & Cvetka Ahlin & Sieglinde Wagner & Berliner Philharmoniker & Karl Böhm. Yes the dialogues are abridged but sufficient to follow the action. Bohm's direction of the Berlin forces superior to many and the principals are matchless, unequaled in their respective roles, except for the tree young boys (die drei Knaben) whose roles should be sung by young boy-singers as in many recordings, not by elderly women, however mellifluous their voices might be !
