Klemperer with Hans Hotter in London in November 1957 and this recording from the same year with the Berliner Philharmoniker under Ferenc Fricsay. The latter is a DG recording and is technically superior to my 'Testament' effort from London. Both are wonderful but in different ways and the history of each production plays its part.
