Melvis & His Gentlemen. Profile: Danish 1960's band fronted by Melvis. Formed in 1961, they played pure rock'n'roll until 1963, when they started moving towards a more English soul-influenced style. The band went through numerous incarnations with Melvis as the only lasting member until they disbanded in 1967.
