Текст песни: The sirens are screaming and the fires are howling Way down in the valley tonight There’s a man in the shadows with a gun in his eye And a blade shining oh so bright.

Meat Loaf's official music video for 'Bat Out Of Hell'. Like a bat out of hell I'll be gone when the morning comes. But when the day is done and the sun goes down, and the moonlights shining through, Then like a sinner before the gates of heaven, I'll come crawling on back to you. Категория. Bat Out of Hell (Album Version).
Bat Out of Hell" is a song written by Jim Steinman, for the 1977 album Bat Out of Hell and performed by Meat Loaf. It was released as a single in 1979, and again in 1993. The song was inspired by teenage tragedy songs such as "Leader of the Pack", "Terry" and "Tell Laura I Love Her", the latter being the first single Jim Steinman had ever bought.
Released October 21, 1977. Bat Out of Hell Tracklist. 1. Bat Out of Hell Lyrics. 2. You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night) Lyrics. The album’s creators, composer Jim Steinman and actor Meat Loaf, came up with the fundamental ingredients for this album while touring with the National Lampoon show. Three of the songs that worked best in their set were Bat Out of Hell, Heaven Can Wait, and All Revved Up with No Place to Go (at the time called The Formation of the Pack )
Meat Loaf was a very obscure artist and the album was unconventional, with nothing that sounded like a standard radio hit. This break in convention ended up distinguishing the album and prompting the huge sales figures. Even the guys who played on the album thought it would flop.
Bat Out Of Hell is an album that’s excessive in every way; big, brash and loud – just like the singer. Punk is rife, and the forces of classic rock have been scattered to the winds. The last thing anyone needs is an overblown record full of ridiculous gothic imagery and cod-sexual appetites. Meat Loaf was, in reality, a collaboration between the operatic vocals of Meat (born Marvin Lee Aday – September 27, 1947), and the compositional charms of classically trained pianist Jim Steinman. The pair had worked together in a musical during the mid-70s, after which Steinman then plotted his magnum opus, a musical, Neverland, a sci-fi update of Peter Pan, which Steinman wrote for a workshop in 1974, and performed at the Kennedy Center Music Theatre Lab in 1977. That never happened, but some of the songs were put to good use on Bat Out Of Hell
