In Silence is the debut studio album by Norwegian band Fra Lippo Lippi. It was released in 1981 through record label Uniton. The album's gothic post-punk sound was heavily influenced by bands such as Joy Division and The Cure. All tracks written by Rune Kristoffersen, except "Recession", written by Kristoffersen and Morten Sjøberg.

The raw sound actually sounds pretty good even though the drums and bass are eclipsed by the magnificent guitar attack by the talented duo of Lee Altus and Doug Piercy. Carl Sacco, one of the co founders of Heathen plays drums here and he does a very good job indeed. The bass duties are handled by none other than bay area legend, the late Mike Yaz Jastremski who also played on epic power metal unit Griffin’s cream of the crop debut.

After re-watching (I watched it about 100 or even 1000 times. whatever) Enjoy The Silence video made by Anton Corbijn, I occasionally thought of some visual similarities again. Now images of Dave Gahan in mantle and with a crown combined, obviously, with Freddie Mercury, also with mantle and crown, like from that greatest Wembley show, in 1986 I think there's no need to explain anything further. I combine two different things again!!! I tried to repeat landscapes from original ETS video, with slight additions, and here Dave is replaced with Freddie  . The title, "Sheer Silence Attack" is also a combination of "Sheer Heart Attack" (title of Queen album of 1974) and "Enjoy The Silence" itself.
