I Am King is the second studio album by American hardcore punk band Code Orange and first to be released under this moniker after previously being referred to as "Code Orange Kids. The Kurt Ballou-produced album was released on September 2, 2014 through Deathwish Inc. To promote the album, Code Orange released music videos for the tracks "I Am King" and "Dreams in Inertia," in addition to an online stream for "My World.

Code Orange (previously known as Code Orange Kids) is an American hardcore punk band that formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2008. The band signed to Deathwish Inc. for their first two studio albums Love Is Love/Return to Dust (2012) and I Am King (2014) and have since released a third, Forever (2017), through Roadrunner Records. In 2012, four of the band's members – Reba Meyers, Jami Morgan, Joe Goldman and Dominic Landolina – formed the rock band Adventures.

CoSigned Pittsburgh punk outfit Code Orange (fka Code Orange Kids) will release their sophomore album, I Am King, on September 2nd via Deathwish Inc. In anticipation, it’s streaming in full below. The follow-up to 2012’s Love is Love/Return to Dust is the foursome’s first release since their name change earlier this year. The 11-track effort was produced by Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou at God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts.
