Supagroup is an American rock and roll band from New Orleans, Louisiana. Their current lineup includes vocalist and rhythm guitarist Chris Lee, lead guitarist Benji Lee, bassist Brewer Brian Broussard, and drummer Leon Touzet. Chris Lee is married to former White Zombie bassist Sean Yseult. In early 2003, the band won the New Orleans regional poll in The 2nd Annual Independent Music Awards for their song "She's Hot (I'm On A Roll)".

That's basically Supagroup's whole frame of reference: if you're over 30, think Aerosmith (if you're under 30, think Lenny Kravitz). The only thing that betrays Supagroup's second album as a product of the 21st century is the band's deep and sincere love of the F word, which didn't crop up so often on rock albums 30 years ago. Everything else is vintage '70s: the hair; the clothes; the cheese-a-rific hooks; the yowling vocals; the big, fat, nasty guitars.

Supagroup-style, natch. The ase "Hog Wild" is a sleazy ode to the joys of scoring with fat chicks (for lack of a better term). On an album with numerous contenders, "Hog Wild" is Rules' "funnest" track. And closer "Rough Edge" starts quiet and introspective, then explodes as Chris catalogs all the troublemaking ladies he's bedded.
