Dear Enemy was an Australian indie pop band formed in Melbourne in 1980. Computer One" also reached on the Billboard US Mainstream Rock chart in March, 1984. Dear Enemy disbanded in 1988.

Although I enjoy their cliche' single 'Computer One', I actually think their follow up single 'The Good Life' is a better track both musically and lyrically. This rip was taken from CD at 256kps and contains full album Artwork.

Discography: Dear Enemy.

Computer One," a song about lost love powered by a flush of early-'80s keyboards, begins Ransom Note, and it heightens expectations that are not fulfilled. Dear Enemy sounds confused throughout much of Ransom Note, yearning for synth pop while developing an unfortunate crush on radio-friendly mainstream rock. Ron Martini's raspy vocals have an affecting tone on "Computer One" and "A Bit of Your Heart"; however, on other tracks it resembles the slick, empty voice of John Parr

DEAR ENEMY (Artist) Format: Vinyl. Dear Enemy: Ransom Note.

Dear Enemy began life as a covers band called Stonewall. They started playing original songs and changed their name to Dear Enemy towards the end of 1980  . Dear Enemy released a new single a few months later with "New Hero", which featured on the soundtrack to the Australian motion picture Street Hero. The single however only reached No. 93 on the charts. A couple of lineup changes, with Joey Amenta replacing Barker in April 1985, and two more flop singles, "Stay" and "You're Right, You're Right", followed over the next four years before Dear Enemy’s system crashed and they called it a day at the end of 1988.
