A slip from the first album, but not so much that it's without merit.

Формируйте собственную коллекцию записей The Sugarcubes. This album is a strange one, it reminds me of weird early morning kids shows. This is not necessarily a bad thing, though I can't really listen to the whole thing without feeling slightly dizzy and weirded out. What I really can't figure out though is if you have an amazing voice like Björk in the band, why would you stick the hysteric, high pitched voice of Einar Örn all over pretty much every song? It makes the album more of a weird artifact, as opposed to a great album
A song that suddenly made me a fan enough to discover the beauty that is "Life's Too Good". Many prefer stating most groups deal with the curse of the second album - and The Sugarcubes were no exception to that rule; they tried and in a way they failed. Their choice of failure was, they didn't go silently. And "second best" is something that just doesn't work oh this album
Here Today, Tomorrow Next Week! is the second studio album by Icelandic alternative rock band The Sugarcubes, released in September 1989 through Elektra Records. A version of the album sung in Icelandic titled Illur Arfur! (English: Bad Legacy!) was released as well, with the same English track listing, under the name of Sykurmolarnir (The Sugarcubes in Icelandic)
Their third and final album, Stick Around for Joy, released in February 1992, was more well received by both fans and critics and had two successful singles: "Hit" and "Leash Called Love. The members of The Sugarcubes had formerly been in a variety of Icelandic bands. Björk had the longest career out of any of the members; she had recorded an album as early as 11 years old. In her late teens, she joined the Icelandic post-punk band Tappi Tíkarrass, who released two albums before splitting in 1983. Drummer Sigtryggur "Siggi" Baldursson was a member of Þeyr, while Einar Örn Benediktsson and Bragi Ólafsson formed a punk band called Purrkur Pillnikk.
