James Galway & The Chieftains. I like Irish music and Flute music. Galway, though talented, can get OTT if you have a whole album of him. The delightful blend of flute and more traditional instuments makes this a soft, easy to listen to album. The gentle parts are play really sensitively, but the jigs are played with gusto. This album really gets your foot tapping. Hard to explain - I just like this one a lot. It is arguably my most favoured album - alongside "Honest Poverty" (McCalmans). Strongly recommended.
