it would be nice it all of the colored pressings in this set were also in the individual album listings so that people could sell them off separately if they wanted to without listing them >here< and throwing off accurate sale data. other box sets have been listed like that in both places (i.e. nofx, death cab) for example id like to sell my colored fevers and mirrors cos i never listen to it cos i have the first press single lp and i prefer it.

I own the OG presses of all of these but Digital Ash and I'm torn on whether or not to pick up this set. Does the remaster change anything? I have a lot of sentimentality towards my original copies but I'm curious about this one.

the letter "B" on the spine of my box set is cut off. Anyone else have this defect?

The 'Black & Yellow Swirl' for Lifted turns out as more of a muddy Green effect on mine, but still a very well presented set. Very happy with the quality!

The remastering sounds wonderful IMO. The colors are beautiful (Lifted is a little on the ugly side...) There was no foil stamp to my vision or knowledge, and I assume the stamp was the numbering, The only complains I could have are: The disc 2 of Digital Ash, with the etching, seems a bit off. The first track on side C is Ship In A Bottle and the 's' sounds are supper scratchy sounding, it improves as the song/disc goes on however. ALSO my Cassadega disc 1 was terribly warped, I have contacted Saddle Creek inquiring about it, I considered bringing up the Digital Ash disc 2 but in comparison it was just fine. All in all, damage aside, I find it to be a great set. They even stuck with the individual cover finish styles (glossy-Fevers, matte-IWAIM, standard-Digial Ash, Lifted, Peoples Key), a nice touch. The essay is an interesting and enjoyable read.

Saddle Creek was very prompt and thorough in replacing my damaged record.

My guess is that the Foil Stamping is actually the text on the front of the box (a black foil as opposed to the more usual silver or gold). Nothing I saw in any promotional material said there would be individual numbering, just that it is an edition of 5000. It's a gorgeous set - haven't had a chance to listen all the way through all albums, but will keep an eye out for the warped disc you mention (Cassadaga is my favorite, so I hope it's not a widespread issue).
