Mollie Marriott is very proud of her heritage (daughter of former Small Faces and Humble Pie singer/guitarist Steve Marriott and step-daughter to singer Joe Brown) but it does not daunt her, she is ready to go it alone and will release her debut album Truth Is A Wolf. Says Mollie, I’m really excited about the album. It features a lot of different styles and I think it really showcases my vocals. Released November 3 rd, 2017 through Amadeus Music, Truth is a Wolf is the debut album by Mollie Marriott, daughter of former Small Faces and Humble Pie singer/guitarist, Steve Marriott. She’s spent the larger part of her music career as a mercenary, singing backup vocals for veterans like The Who and Jeff Beck. But with her rousing blues-rock influenced debut record now in her arsenal, she’s suitably armed to charge out of the shadows and into center stage.

Mollie Marriott’s album Truth Is A Wolf is released on November 3. Her father was Steve Marriott, the acest face of the mod scene in the Small Faces, and blues rocker with Humble Pie. Her stepfather is Joe Brown and, as a child, she’d go and hang out at her friend Dhani Harrison’s house and ask his Beatle father George for advice. But make no mistake, Mollie is very much her own woman and talking to the 32-year-old singer/songwriter it’s clear that she has managed to reconcile being the daughter of a rock legend with her own ambitions. Mollie is currently working on her next album and preparing for an autumn tour with Brit rockers Bad Touch. She’s also nurturing the next generation of Marriott musical talent – her eight-year-old daughter Tabitha. They love playing the ukulele together and Tabitha is already writing her own songs. I wrote my first song at about her age, which was called Midnight Hour.
