I personally think Lisa Della Casa has one of the most beautiful voices on record, and her talent in Mozart and Strauss roles is well documented. She and Christa Ludwig make a fantastic pair as Fiordiligi and Dorabella. The only voice I particularly don't care for is Anton Dermota. It's just not the most beautiful instrument, but he sings admirably. Some of the tempi sound oddly slow by today's standards, but others are just as fast as modern period instrument performances.

Dermota appeared with various, equally splendid partners in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin – as Lenski he duelled before the radio microphone with George London and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, while as late as the 1970s he turned Monsieur Triquet’s burlesque into a subtle character study.

Anton Dermota was a respected tenor and gives us a decent Ferrando. The voice is not terribly ingratiating, being nasal in tone. Anton Dermota's voice is a bit heavier than those of the subsequent generation of Mozart tenors. It is not especially beautiful. He is not long of breath, so he doesn't astound us with long passages on a single gulp of air.
