The originating from Boston folkpunkband Dropkick Murphys has been around since 1995 but was only known to a larger audience after the release of their successful album Sing Loud, Sing Proud (2001). The band knew on that plate to create a perfect harmony between raw street punk and traditional Irish music, the band members since childhood with the spoon. The combination of rough punk with bagpipes and mandolin of the Dropkick Murphys sounds totally not forced and of course than previously conceived. On Blackout is there to Sing Loud, Sing Proud little to nothing changed and the Dropkick Murphys blowing as usual from the speakers. Also prove trusted text topics like whiskey, lost loves and the workers are an almost inexhaustible source of inspiration. Blackout is alternately festive and melancholy, not entirely coincidence that exactly the votes that can be drunk in the pub the best left.
