The Gang's All Here is the second studio album released by American Celtic punk band the Dropkick Murphys. It is their first album with Al Barr (ex-vocalist for The Bruisers) who replaced founding singer Mike McColgan in 1998 after he left the band to become a firefighter, and later form his own Punk Rock band Street Dogs. With Barr, the band released their first 7" EP together, 1998's "Curse of a Fallen Soul" prior to recording the album.
The Dropkick Murphys, from Boston, take up the expected pose, but back it up with lyrics a cut above the hormonal angst of their late-'90s contemporaries. They use a combination of topical observations and self-examination that gives their stance a bit more validity, especially in "Curse of a Fallen Soul. It's smart and generous punk, but still decidedly tough thanks to Al Barr's gruff vocals and the impressive power of drummer Matt Kelly

The Gang's All Here was the second album released by American Celtic punk band the Dropkick Murphys. It is the first album that the band did with Al Barr, ex-vocalist for The Bruisers. The band released a music video for the single "10 Years Of Service". The last track on the album features a humorous hidden track of guitarist Rick Barton's answering machine.
Well, I thought wrong, because about a minute in the song turns fast and heavy on a dime for a dynamic roughly equivalent to having a safe dropped on your head. In another surprise, the band does an all-instrumental cover of the classic "Amazing Grace," and their mix of bagpipes and hard-driving punk riffs works a lot better than one might expect.
