Salvation Code is the second track on Scandroid’s self-titled debut album and the first single by 2013 formed band Scandroid. The 80s sound is heavily inspired by sounds made by keyboards like the Yamaha DX-7 or Moog Vocoders. The lyrics describe the desolation in which the protagonists Red (Klayton) and Raven (Varien) live as they receive a transmission from Aphelion promising them encoded salvation, therefore starting their journey.

Scandroid’s debut full-length album turned the synthwave world on its head, introducing a level of imagination and top-tier production rarely heard in the genre. This release includes the complete original album as well as bonus tracks like Dance with the Dead’s popular remix of "Neo-Tokyo. Scandroid -Salvation Code. The digital album concludes with a bonus remix from synthwave artist Waveshaper. The 72 minute album depicts themes of a cyberpunk future where humans and sentient robots struggle to find a connection in their dystopian world.

Scandroid is an electronic music project created by Klayton, and previously included Varien in 2013. The project released its debut single, "Salvation Code", on August 6, 2013, which was added to the debut album Scandroid upon release. Scandroid can be described as encompassing the retro synth melodies of the 80s while still adapting to modern production, thus creating a new retro sound.
