Singer/songwriter Emily "Birdie" Busch made her debut with 2006's The Ways We Try, having traded in her day job (as a restaurant hostess in downtown Philadelphia) for the folksy instrumentation and delicate-voiced melodies that characterize her music. Philadelphia’s Birdie Busch, with the help of 137 patrons through PledgeMusic, has made her 4th full length album entitled Birdie Busch and the Greatest Night. This recording gathers together what Birdie loves best: playing in a band with other like-minded folks where melody, rhythm, dynamic, and songwriting are all getting their time to shine. Album design collaboration by Emily Busch and Angela Miles of Carpe Diem Construction Co. This record is in dear memory of Mr. Donald Carl Cheeseman.
