Hank was concerned that some of the lines might sound self-consciously artsy and alienate his audience, but, as he so often did, he tried out the song on friends, fellow performers, and Fred Rose, and let them convince him that he had . It's because he's lost the will to live; I'm so lonesome I could cry'.
I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" is a song recorded by American country music singer-songwriter Hank Williams in 1949. Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup Vol. 2 1946-1949. He is best known outside blues circles for writing songs later covered by Elvis Presley (and since covered by dozens of other artists), such as "That's All Right Mama", "My Baby Left Me" and "So glad you're mine", and by many claims, "Blue Suede Shoes".

That's why I don't drive anywhere until mine is on tight. Choosing to wear your seat belt is a simple as choosing between life and death. That car is zipping down the road. Then somebody ahead of you locks up his or her brakes. Your driver doesn't have time to stop. The car that you are in crashes. Your car was going 60 miles per hour. Now it has suddenly stopped. Your body, however, is still going 60 MPH.
that we knew 'cause he worked in the after-school program And he held her down with her textbook beside her And he covered her mouth and he came inside her So now I'm with Sam, at the place with a plan, waiting for the results of a medical exam And she's praying she doesn't need an abortion, she. couldn't afford it And her parents would, like, totally kill he. And that's why we're here And that's why we rally It's Olympians and a medical resident and not one fucking word from the man who is President It's about closed doors and secrets and legs and stilletos from the Hollywood hills to the projects in ghettos When babies are ripped from the arms of teen mothers and child.
That's the only literal quote I remember. I'm a little fuzzy on that. I'm looking for a song for a long time now and I just can't find it. Lyrics are something like this: "Can you feel it rising up I can feel it too I'm so high It's like there is no sky When I'm with you". Is it familiar to anyone? Thanks.
Baby won't you tell me why there is sadness in your eyes. Am. B7. Em. I don't wanna say goodbye to you. D. G. Love is one big illusion I should try to forget. But there is something left in my head. C. But I'm not the man your heart is missing. That's why you go away I know. You were never satisfied no matter how I tried.
Baby won't you tell me why there is sadness in your eyes I don't wanna say goodbye to you Love is one big illusion I should try to forget But there is something left in my head. You're the one who set it up Now you're the one to make it stop I'm the one who's feeling lost right now Now you want me to forget every little thing you said But there is something left in my head. I won't forget the way you're kissing The feelings so strong were lasting for so long But I'm not the man your heart is missing That's why you go away I know.
