It is uplifting, with memorable horn arrangements and melodies. If you are a fan of Linton and Dennis Bovell (aka Blackbeard), or want a tasty example of British Dub from the late seventies then this is recommended. Mr Bovell understands the heartbeat of Mr Johnson's poetry and the fire in the belly that drove the man to produce some of the best reggae in England from the late seventies on. This 1980 (on vinyl) release now on CD. it still holds together as a dub monster on the rampage in 2013. For me stand outs are the reworkings of "Brain Smashing Dub" and the opening track "Victorious Dub".
