Silent Nights is a music studio album recording by RICK WAKEMAN (Symphonic Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 1985 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. When I took this album for the first time, I asked myself: Is this the same Rick Wakeman who made incredibly wonderful works in the 70s? He plays the keyboards professionally, like ever, but the music is average and bored, and not really progressive.

Live at Hammersmith is the second live album by Rick Wakeman. Despite being a 1985 concert, the music performed is from the first three albums (1973–1975). During this show there was a power failure, and Wakeman walked to the front and told jokes for 45 minutes. Three of these songs have shorter or altered names: Three Wives is a made-up name implying this is a medley of 3 songs from the album The Six Wives of Henry VIII.

Silent Nights is a rock album released in 1985 by Rick Wakeman. The single to the album entitled "Glory Boys" got a large amount of airplay but the pressing plant where it was being made went on strike. This meant that the airplay for the single stopped as people found it hard to purchase a copy. Although the album was not a commercial success Rick Wakeman himself has stated on his official site that "Glory Boys" is probably the best single he has.

Wakeman's first of many albums for President Records, this was recorded with a rock band featuring Rick Fenn of Mason-Fenn on guitar, ex-Strawbs bass player Chas Cronk, and perennial Wakeman sideman Tony Fernandez on drums. Seven tracks feature lead vocals by Gordon Neville, who is less strident than the average Wakeman vocalist.
